Before his show this evening in Buenos Aires, had a brief virtual chat with Vlad, one of the members of Motorama, the Russian revelation band of the post-punk that will give an exclusive show at the Roxy Live in Palermo from 7: 00 pm.

Susana-I would like to know first of all,how is formed the band and what was your first show.?
Vlad-In 2005 by the guy who’s not playing in a band anymore. The first concert was the same year in our hometown. Members of the band are changing all the time.
Susana-The band was considered a true revelation of the post-punk and caught attention with your first album, «Alps», tell me as an independent Russian band to generate this musical revolution around the world?
Vlad- I think that there was no revolution, we were and we still are a pretty small local band. With the help of internet several people discovered our songs, that’s all.
Susana-What have been your biggest influences in generating own sound and how they managed to capture it on your material?
Vlad-Since childhood we have been listening to soviet indie bands and pop singers from the 70-80’s, I think that formed something for us. And also Leonard Cohen, Nick Cave and Scott Walker. It was a mix of different influences.
Susana-At its discretion Motorama from the rest of the bands style is different?
Vlad-Really,I have no idea.
Susana-Tell me about your latest album, «Povertry», which was released last year, that impact has had, that have been able to harvest this last material?
Vlad-It was recorded at home, it’s a collection of songs from 2014-2015. It was released by Talitres, the french label from Bordeaux.
Susana-For the public who do not know, if you had to define Motorama beyond the technical definition, how would do it?
Vlad- It’s a pop music with guitars.
Susana-Already come to Argentina, tell me that expectations have? You have been able to know something of our country and our music?
Vlad-We watched several geographical films about Buenos Aires and Argentina in general. It will be interesting to see people and the nature by ourselves.
Susana-What show have prepared for the public of Buenos Aires, we are going to be able to listen and know?
Vlad-We have 15 or 16 songs, different songs from different albums.
Susana-After the visit to our country,how is the year for the band?
Vlad-We are in the process of recording new songs.
Susana-Finally, I would like to leave you a message to those who already know the band and those who read you and will listen you for the first time thanks to the same.
